A couple years ago I got to meet fellow Exile blogger and Wasting Away in Wrigleyville creator John at a Spring Training game out here in Mesa, AZ. John was kind enough to give me a Cubs koozie featuring his blog and the "W" from the "W" flag (even though the flag is white and the "W" is blue, but we won't go into technicalities). This past weekend I traveled to New Orleans for the Annual Jazz and Heritage Festival as well as some great food and nightlife. During the visit, my Cubs koozie became a source of some photos. I mean really, who wants to look at photos of my ugly mug anyway. This led to the idea of documenting the Cubs koozie in various locations (kind of like that damn gnome). For now the only place is New Orleans and the Jazz Fest, but from here on out I will take my koozie on all my travels and update the site. If you're bored head on over and check it out.
